What is management by principle?

Management by principle advocates fair competition through clean and transparent
means. We shall win customers by touching their hearts. As such, we aim for a
world-class and competitive company.
Since the declaration of the LG Ethical Code in February 1994, we have pursued the
business based on the policy of ?management by principle.? We strongly believe that
this management strategy will enable LG Electronics to grow into a superior world-class
corporation. We shall do this while pursuing a common vision with our partners, on the
basis of mutual trust and cooperation.
We also operate an online whistle-blowing system, whereby LG staff or customers can report wrongdoings to management.
